In Loving Memory of Chris
Each year, I walk to support Sharing Kindness in memory of my brother Chris who died by suicide. I walk to honor someone’s life and all the lives that are lost: Friends, family, acquaintances, and all the people we hear about every day who were not able to be with us in person; and I walk for those that are still here. Sharing Kindness is an organization that I am proud to be a part of. They support the people that are still here. People that are left with a hole in their spirit nothing can fill, a part of them that is missing. Sharing Kindness offers support for the overwhelming and growing need for Grief Counseling. With the creation of the Hope Squads, they are beginning to tackling the seriousness of suicide in our communities head on. Taking care of our loved ones now, before someone needs to walk for them.
Please join me in my journey, to honor my brother and all of our loved ones who have left us, as we support this amazing organization.

Chris’ mischievous smile and charm would always melt my heart. He found his way into my parents’ hearts too and became family. He always made my mom smile and my dad laugh. Tracy, I admired the loving sibling relationship you had with him, though his time here was too short. Thanks for your steadfast dedication to this cause.
