Welcome to the Team U-Matter fundraising page! This year, we are proud to lace up our sneakers and join the 2026 Sharing Kindness Suicide Awareness Walk. Our team is dedicated to more than just a single day of awareness. We are committed to evidence-based action and person-first advocacy inspired by our work in public health and community building,

Why We Walk

Mental health is not just an individual struggle; it is a communal responsibility. We walk to honor those we have lost, to support those currently struggling, and to advocate for a future where mental healthcare is accessible, non-stigmatized, and deeply affirming.

By participating in this walk with Sharing Kindness, we are helping fund:

- Grief Support Groups for those navigating the aftermath of loss.

- Community Education to give people the tools to be "mental health first responders."

- Awareness Programs that replace silence with life-saving conversation.

How You Can Help

Your contribution—no matter the size—directly fuels suicide prevention, community education, and bereavement support.

- Donate: Click the "Donate" button to help us reach our goal.

- Join Us: Register to walk alongside Team U-Matter and show the Greater Boston area that community is the ultimate safety net.

- Spread the Word: Share our page and let someone know today that they truly matter.

Thank you for standing with Team U-Matter and Sharing Kindness. Together, we are saving lives.
