$2,085 raised

Ended Jun 17, 2025

The Suicide Awareness Walk is an annual three-mile walk on May 17th that brings together community members to remember those who have died by suicide, support survivors of suicide loss, and raise awareness of the stigmatized issues of brain health and suicide. All money raised will go to Sharing Kindness, an incredible local nonprofit that has supported the implementation of Hope Squads in high schools across the Cape. Hope Squads are peer-to-peer suicide prevention groups that work to reduce stigma around mental health, increase connectivity and belonging, and are leaders in their schools. I have been lucky enough to work closely with Sharing Kindness to start a Hope Squad at Monomoy High School. They are truly doing the hard work of healing our community and keeping our young people safe and supported. Please consider donating to this incredible cause <3
